Hydrographical reserve

Žemaitija National Park has 1 hydrographical reserve - Šilinė hydrographic reserve.

The Šilinė hydrographical reserve was established in order to preserve the natural forest stream - the Šilinė stream, its hydrographical structure and hydrological regime, a forested valley and sub-valley with natural meadows, springs, protected species and water and forest habitats of European Community importance. The area of ​​the reserve is 272 ha / 672 ac.
